Four state champs for Section 6 in Division II

For a third straight year, Amherst’s Kellen Devlin has won the NYSPHSAA Wrestling Championship tournament in Albany. In 2016 however, he had company. Keller wins MOW at large school showdown.

Troy Keller of North Tonawanda took the most outstanding wrestler honors after pinning all three of his opponents at the 2016 Section 6 Division I state qualifier. There were four repeat champions from 2015 including Mitch Seaver(Lockport), Connor Day(Iroquois), Freddie Eckles(Lake Shore), and Tristan Almeter(Iroquois).
